CREW Tampa Bay is the regional chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, a national organization advancing women in commercial real estate. The chapter hosts programs that inspire leadership, foster business development, and strengthen professional relationships among members representing development, brokerage, finance, and related industries.
The Partnership
CREW Tampa Bay partnered with Lead at Any Level® to deliver a three-part professional development series on building meaningful, profitable, and inclusive networks. Organizers sought a program that would go beyond traditional networking advice—one that would help participants connect authentically across professional and personal differences while strengthening their influence and visibility in the industry.
Scope of Work
The engagement included three interconnected sessions:
Network Beyond Bias Book Club Discussion (virtual)
Network Like a CHAMP(in-person luncheon keynote)
Building Your CHAMP Network Online and In Real Life(live webinar)
Each session introduced or deepened understanding of Amy C. Waninger’s CHAMP framework—Customers, Helpers, Associates, Mentors, and Peers—giving participants a practical tool to evaluate and expand their networks. The program combined personal reflection, small-group interaction, and actionable strategies for intentional networking both online and offline.
Our Results
Participant feedback across all sessions was overwhelmingly positive.
100% of survey respondents found the programs valuable and said they would attend again.
96–97% described the sessions as engaging, interactive, relevant, and practical.
Attendees praised Amy’s “relaxed and easy-to-connect-with” style and “perspective-shifting insights.”
